The Council, Lieutenant Governor and the State of Illinois assume no liability for any harm that may come to any person or his/her property by using this site. IllinoisCarpool.org is a service that helps match people who wish to carpool together. The owners and operators of IllinoisCarpoool.org do not verify any of the information posted on the website and assume no liability for the accuracy of such information. IllinoisCarpool.org reserves the right to judge what is acceptable use of the site. Information posted on the site may be changed or deleted to ensure acceptable use without any liability assumed for such actions. By using this site you certify that: 1. You are at least 18 years of age; and 2. You are using this site for personal reasons and not for commercial gain; and 3. You are using this site only where permitted by law. In consideration of permitting me to use IllinoisCarpool.org, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows: (A) I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me, THE FOLLOWING ENTITIES OR PERSONS: a. The State of Illinois and its employees and contractors, b. Any and all other promoters, sponsors and presenters of this event or activity; (B) I INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE the entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in this event, whether caused by their negligence or otherwise. This release of liability shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law. I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT, AND I FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENT. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT AND I AGREEE TO IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
