Rain Barrels

Enter to win a rain barrel!

Conserving water and preserving water quality are important to our communities. We must ensure that we have an adequate supply of drinking water during droughts and dry spells, and for future generations. One easy way that you can help clean up local streams and reduce pollution is by collecting the water that falls on your home.

Governor Pat Quinn is giving away three professionally painted rain barrels that will help three lucky Illinois residents collect water at home. The rain barrels are donated by Austin Grammer (, a manufacturer of rain barrels from Central Illinois.

To enter, please fill out the form below, or visit the Governor's State Fair Tent.

All three winners will be announced in September on It's Our River Day (Sep 19). The last day to enter to win a rain barrel will be Sep 12.
