Water Savers

Water is a precious and limited resource.  We depend on safe and adequate drinking water for our homes, businesses, and communities.  Cleaner rivers, lakes and streams allows us the privilege to enjoy a number of outdoor activities like fishing, boating, canoeing and bird watching.

But we aren’t the only ones who benefit from these water sources.  Adequate supplies are also needed to maintain communities of fish and other aquatic life forms.

What we do at work, home or in the community impacts water quality and water quantity.  Here are some ways you can help protect and preserve our resources today.

There are hundreds of ways to help keep our waterways clean.  Find a few in our Clean Water Tips and Facts guide.
