Created a rain garden to reduce damage from campus flooding.
Donated more than 100 pieces of unusable computer equipment for recycling.

Two buildings recently constructed on campus: -use heat pump technology from the HVAC system.

  • have energy recovery wheels and the latest in low energy consumption lighting.
  • operate at about $26,000 in lower utility costs annually than the other buildings on campus.

Many engineering controls have been implemented in the older buildings to reduce energy consumption.  The act of converting all standard V-belt drives to cog belts saves about $2,000 annually.
