Join Governor Pat Quinn in learning how to make your university or college campus more sustainable by implementing a variety of green practices and programs. Speakers and workshops will cover topics such as energy efficiency and retrofits, renewable energy, green collar jobs training, sustainable construction and maintenance, climate change, sustainable dining, funding sources for sustainable projects, sustainability in curricula, waste reduction, community outreach, water conservation and sustainable campus transportation.

This symposium is an opportunity to exchange ideas with your peers and identify new programs to apply at your university. Past years' symposium participants included university and college administrators, sustainability directors, facilities managers, campus planners and architects, engineers, faculty, and student leaders.
