Sustainable Government Symposium
The Sustainable Government Symposium is a day-long conference hosted annually by the Illinois Green Governments Coordinating Council.
The symposium attracts about 100 representatives from Illinois state agencies, boards, commissions, and educational institutions. Attendees include directors, program managers, purchasing officers, building managers, fleet managers, IT specialists, and others involved in greening agency operations and policies.
2008 Sustainable Government Symposium
This year marks the third annual Sustainable Government Symposium. It will take place on Friday, December 12 at the Department of Agriculture Administration Building on the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield.
The symposium agenda will include the quarterly meeting of the Green Governments Coordinating Council, presentations of the 2008 Green Government Awards, presentations on green initiatives implemented by state agencies and others, and exhibits by green vendors and organizations.

Presentation Proposals

2007 Sustainable Government Symposium
Last year's Sustainable Government Symposium took place on December 11, 2007 at the Department of Natural Resources building on the Illinois State Fairgrounds.
