Week 3. Pledge to Purchase Greener Supplies for Your Office

Green products are longer lasting, less toxic, high-quality, reusable and easy to recycle.  They have a lower impact on the environment because they require less materials, water and energy to produce and to use.  When purchasing supplies for your office, look for items that have environmentally friendly certifications, such as U.S. EPA ENERGY STAR or Green Seal logos. This week, consider purchasing or talking to your office about purchasing environmentally preferable supplies
