Jackie Joyner-Kersee, is considered one of the greatest athletes of all time. Sports Illustrated for Women voted Jackie Female Athlete of the 20th Century and ESPN named her one of the 50 Greatest Athletes.

 

With Jackie’s leadership, the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Foundation raised more than $12 million to build the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Center in her hometown, East St. Louis, Illinois. The Center is a safe haven for young people to learn, play and contribute to their community.

 

A graduate of UCLA with a BA in History, Jackie has distinguished herself as a six-time Olympic Medalist, World record holder, philanthropist, author and motivational speaker.

 

Jackie has astonished fans worldwide and received accolades including the Jesse Owens Award, Sullivan Award, USOC Hall of Fame and eight Honorary Doctorates.

 

Today she focuses on enhancing the lives of children worldwide; as she champions the causes of asthma awareness, education and is an advocate for health, wellness and fitness for all ages.

 

Jackie currently lives in the St. Louis area with her husband, Bob Kersee.
