The Let Them Rest in Peace Act

Illinois Lt. Governor Pat Quinn defends fallen veterans and their families with the Rest In Peace Act. This legislation is designed to give a 200 ft privacy zone at military funerals. The act was prompted by the hate filled protests of a Kansas based "church", members of which would show up at military funerals and harass the families of the deceased.

The Big Green Bus

The Lt. Governor greets students who have been travelling cross country in a vegetable-oil fueled vehicle named the "Big Green Bus".

Quinn was joined by the artist, 22-year old Cameron Schilling of Mattoon, Illinois who is a student at Eastern Illinois University.
