Win a Laptop

To encourage schools from Illinois to raise money for life-saving malaria nets, the winning Netraiser team will be awarded Low-Cost Laptops!

Kindergarten through fifth-grade classrooms across Illinois are eligible to participate.

At the end of the "Nothing But Nets" challenge, every student and teacher in one resourceful classroom will win their very own Acer® Aspire one laptop computer!

The 8.9 inch, easy-to-use Acer Aspire one netbook is a mini-laptop, which weighs about 2 pounds and comes equipped with Microsoft XP Home®, wireless connectivity and a built-in webcam.

If you are a parent, school administrator, principal or student, encourage your teachers to get involved!

For a chance to win, teachers must follow three easy steps:

  1. E-mail LTGOV.SchoolChallenge@Illinois.gov with your name, school name, school address, county and classroom grade.
  2. Form a Netraiser Team for your classroom! Click http://www.standingupforillinois.org/uploads/Netraiser_CES.pdf for instructions.
  3. Have fun – and keep us posted on your progress!
