Great Causes
The people of the Land of Lincoln are generous and caring. There are many ways you can lend a helping hand. One way is to make a contribution to these great causes. It can be mailed directly to one of the following, or you can use a check-off box on your tax return to donate to other great causes.
Illinois Fan Club
The Illinois Fan Club provides free fans to senior citizens and homebound persons across Illinois. Contributions are used to purchase and distribute fans to needy persons based on financial and medical criteria.

Good Samaritan Energy Trust Fund
The Good Samaritan Energy Trust Fund provides grants to low-income households whose heat has been turned off. All contributions are directed to help families in the county where the contribution was received.

Heartsaver AED Fund
All monies collected are used to help public schools, park districts and public universities purchase life-saving AED machines. Your contribution will help reduce the 250,000 unnecessary deaths each year from cardiac arrest.
