IDOT has implemented steps to promote the usage of biofuel. Part of the biofuel project was to create signage to alleviate the concerns of the traveling public to help them find biofuel stations. IDOT has created four steps to further promote biofuel usage through their web page, blue board signs, large Illinois map displays and pamphlets.
