Illinois Elementary Schools Netraiser Challenge

Every 30 seconds a child dies from malaria – a death that can be prevented with a long-lasting, insecticide-treated bed net that can keep an entire family safe from malaria.

But a new school year in Chicago means new promise for children in Africa as Illinois classrooms join in a friendly competition that will save lives.

  2. Form a Netraiser Team for your classroom! Click here for instructions.
  3. Have fun – and keep us posted on your progress!

Prizes for the winning class include:

  • A low-cost laptop for each student and teacher in the winning class!
  • A classroom pizza party!
  • An all-school assembly featuring Nothing But Nets spokespeople, such as MLS and NBA stars!

Rules:

  • Elementary school K-5 classrooms in Illinois are eligible to participate.
  • The Netraiser Challenge runs until Friday, December 19th.
  • The winning class will be determined and announced during the week of January 5th, 2009, based on Netraiser Team fundraising totals.
