CHICAGO - On Friday, May 2, at 11:00 a.m., Lt. Governor Pat Quinn will gather with members of the Polish community to celebrate Polish Constitution Day - a day to commemorate the 217th anniversary of the Polish Constitution, which was adopted on May 3, 1791. The Polish Constitution is the world's second written constitution.

Governor Pat Quinn will welcome academic, business and governmental leaders from Quebec and Illinois to the Montreal-Chicago Project in Technology Transfer, Biotechnology, and the Health Sciences Dialogue at The University of Illinois at Chicago, Forum Building, 725 West Roosevelt Road.

5th Annual Cesar Chavez Serve & Learn Program

(CHICAGO) - On Monday, March 31, at 9:00 a.m. at the Cesar E. Chavez Multicultural Academic Center, Second Floor Gym, Lt. (Springfield) – On Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 9:30 a.m., Lt. Governor Pat Quinn will salute talented artist and sculptor Abelardo Ghoulam for generously donating a one-of-kind piece of artwork to a Springfield school. Ghoulam will present the “mini-wall relief” inspired by the life and legacy of President Abraham Lincoln to the students and teachers at Lincoln Magnet School.
