(Quincy) – On Friday April 18 at 1:30 p.m., Lt. Governor Pat Quinn will join with Quincy-area school children for a day filled with fun and environmentally friendly activities at the John Wood Community College’s 2nd Annual Earth Day celebration.

CHICAGO - On Wednesday, March 26, at 1:30 p.m., Lt. Governor Pat Quinn will join representatives from the International Dark-Sky Association and the World Wildlife Fund to commend the Village of Homer Glen for passing a groundbreaking dark-sky ordinance, and will ask residents throughout Illinois to participate in Earth Hour by turning off their lights from 8 to 9 p.m. this Saturday night.
Blue Planet Run
On Wednesday, August 22, Lt. Governor Pat Quinn will join with the 20 international citizen athletes of the 2007 Blue Planet Run, who have been running nonstop since June 1 in an unprecedented effort to raise money to deliver safe drinking water to some of the 1.1 billion people who live without it.
