Quinn Unveils Portrait of a Soldier
Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn will unveil the Portrait of a Soldier memorial � a series of hand-drawn portraits of 150 Illinois men and women who have died in service to our country since September 11, 2001. This memorial is dedicated to Illinois servicemembers who have given their last full measure of devotion to our democracy.

Quinn demands end of unfair tax policies
As millions of taxpayers across Illinois raced to file their income tax returns by Tuesday�s deadline, Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn denounced the state�s "Soak the Middle Class" tax code and called for a Year of the Taxpayer that would grant tax relief to everyday people who need it most.
