End Cervical Cancer in Our Lifetime is a national campaign to help every women get screened for cervical cancer. Lt. Governor Quinn and Jackie Joyner-Kersee, America’s greatest female athlete, are leading Illinois’ efforts to end cervical cancer. (Read Jackie Joyner-Kersee's biography here )

Cervical cancer is detectable, treatable, and curable if found at an early stage. The recently expanded Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program is giving thousands of women free screenings and cancer treatment. Almost 10,000 American women will develop cervical cancer this year, and approximately 3,700 will die from it. Help stop cervical cancer.
